Laptops#

Daily Driver#

This is a GOOD fucking laptop.
I run a minimal, but pleasing Arch config with Hyprland Sway, which works seemingly well for my needs and helps me focus.

Muscle#

To be frank, buying this was one of the worst decisions in my life. It is a powerhogger (145W input), thermal nightmare (idles at damned 70C) and doesn’t output as much as you’d want with a gaming laptop.

It’s currently snoozing deeply in my cupboard… waiting to be sold or salvaged for parts.

Retired Veteran#

  • 8GB RAM

My first laptop; 12 years young.

It runs better than my “muscle” laptop. After all, I don’t need much, just need to do sys-admin and studying, right? It still has the oomph to run several tabs and be a stable guy in times of need (has BSPWM+Debian 12; much more stable.)

My mom uses this laptop now.

The Rig#

Along with the laptops, I use these things at my desk to (sort of) improve my productivity.

• M-Audio M-Track Solo Audio Interface
• Mic: Behringer Ultravoice XM8500
• Wacom CTL-472 Graphics Tablet

I use an ergonomic mouse and a keyboard with the Colemak layout. Aah I love the Extend layer!

Other Devices#

Tablet: Lenovo IdeaTab Pro (8/128)#

Mostly for note-taking. Great screen.
I do like to read comics and watch lectures here as well.

E-reader: Kobo Clara BW#

Having an e-reader is really cool. You can read pretty much every book, if you know where to find them ;).

I use KO-Reader with this.

(Only Phone) Redmi Note 9 Pro Max#

I have dumbed out my phone, mostly using apps like Minimo Launcher. I’ve hidden most of the apps, and don’t use too many of them.

I also use this phone as my primary camera for my streams.

Camera: Sony Cybershot DSC-W830#

I use this point and shoot camera to take pictures whenever I go out. I don’t typically use my phone to take pictures. It feels great actually.

But unfortunately, the image stabilizer doesn’t work that great anymore.

A Raspberry Pi Zero 2W#

A gift from my friend Jonak. Works as a Radicale server, and more.
